Post getting better
Well, strapped on Emery's slicks wensday in an attempt to go alittle quicker, and failed. We chased problems all night, which eventually lead to a faulty plug wire. Barrowed a set and got one clean pass in at the end of the night which was another 11.6, but I trapped 121, so I didn't totally fail I guess.

Emery again got me off my ass and to the track tonight, and we did better. I ran an 11.3 @ 124, and in one pass Em beat me with an 11.2 @ 124. One slight problem, my car was rolling in the two step alittle bit tripping the lights. My 1.7 and 1.8 60 foots sure felt better than that, but I'm still more than happy with tonight's results. Going to have to see if I can do something about that before next week.

Damn she looks good with some real rubber

Your DSM is awesome man. Glad to see you busted some lower times on that 7-bolt. That paint and the tails matched with the Hoosiers is a sick combo.

It was pretty cool to see the car up and going Cory.

Damn spark plug wires!!! Would have been cool to get some better runs in on the first couple tries. Something so small like that is very irritating

+1 for the car w/ some real rubber

Off topic, but when you blew by me today on Erie Station Road, I am pretty sure my ears were bleeding. :D

Sweet launch and nice video of your car there! The crowd in the background pointing out the slicks and fast pass was priceless.

Sick!!! I wish I could have gone, but was dealing with my own problems that night.

P.S. your pictures are all x'ed out for me?

That 2 step rolling seems to be a common issue lately. . .can you adjust your pedal or do you have no room left either?

Another option is to do the "Wirth Special" which I don't do anymore unless there is a hill...

Basically use the EBrake to keep yourself from rolling then drop it down on the launch in one fluid action. It's not exactly easy at first but if it prevents the roll when revving on the 2 step it's worth the trouble. :boosted:

My e-brake is no more.......
I had to loose it to install the longer studs, It didn't work anyways.
Truthfully, I'm thinking of putting a line lock in the car. It may be the way to go, and may save on parts.

nice times. you should be able to get a 10 soon. As far as the some sort of brake with no ebrake get a staging brake setup and use the now deleted ebrake handle all stealthy under the center console. That's what I'm doing next year.
