 Re: Summer Cookout Ideas
I'm liking this idea a lot. Some cook out and maybe some track time. If not just a cook out is great to.
I will be there, Saturday's or Sunday's are fine.

 Re: Summer Cookout Ideas
Are Friday's a definite NO for everyone? The only reason I ask is that it would be super easy to run at the track as Friday's are TEST & TUNE. Seems like we would be hard pressed to get a test and tune on the weekend.
Anyone have problems running during a Full Program day at the track?

Friday's are bad for me, I don't end up leaving work till 5:30, So I would hate to be in a rush to get places.

Ill go for hot dogs hot cars, I'll even try to bring my car ladies (you know the skimpy dressed Asians on import magazines). My do ate my coolant hose but i'm hardcore enough to drive without it.
What about would it cost per person?

 Re: Summer Cookout Ideas
Last year we kind of ran out of time to schedule a cookout. That's my fault as I let it fall through. I was thinking about one for this year and will have plenty of time to plan ahead. I'm thinking we will probably look at something similar for this year. Cookout at a park and then those who want to join can meet down at NYIRP. Any ideas welcome and we can start getting dates and prices set.

Knowing them I'm sure there will be plenty of dyno days there this summer. Right now I'm thinking possibly the weekends around July 4th? So June 26 or 27, or July 10 or 11. Any thoughts there? Would anyone like it later in the summer?

We can talk more about that offline if your still interested in donating when the time comes. Hopefully if we get a few more, we'll be able to get a good raffle together for this year. Then obviously the proceeds would be used for future meets/cookouts. I also don't think alcohol is a good idea. Everyone is hopefully mature enough to have a fun outing without it .

 Re: Summer Cookout Ideas
This sounds like a fun idea and one of my friends is really close to the owner of the track I'm gonna get in touch with him and see what he thinks about the idea of having us. Up there I'm sure it won't be free but ill see what I can do with that
