Best part of the video of course has to be beating Chris Wirth down the quarter. I see him pull away from me all the time at Watkins, so it is nice to give him a little smack down every once and a while.
Thanks for sharing.

Very nice indeed. Great looking car.

And Chris what happened? 2.126 short time? Did you fall asleep? Were you making a ham sandwich? Was there an unexpected lady bug attack? You need to work on those short times mang! :D

I cut a .5xx light but let off the limiter on that run since I was holding it so long. I should have just scrapped the entire run but I did a Sunday drive to get some datalogging in from 4th gear, focking pro tree FTMFL. Basically I'm losing some spoolup from a pre turbo exhaust leak so response off the line is not so good right now. Unless I have at least 6 psi of boost the car just bogs and hovers at 10 psi until I reach 5500 rpm's in first which is no good for pulling off the line. The top end power once full boost is reached is fine since you are bleeding off excess exhaust pressure through the WG anyways, so anyone driving my car right now would have the same issues.

On the highway it pulls like a 120 mph trap speed car should pull so it's just a matter of getting stickier tires, better spring/shocks combo (IE Coilovers) and the ability to build 10 psi off the stationary limiter within a couple seconds like I used to. I'm going to track down the leak and figure out what I need to do to repair it... something tells me I have to remove the exhaust headers which will not make me very happy. Even once I fix that leak the car still has lack of traction on my current tires and the wheel hop is not great depending on what tire pressures I'm running.

Just goes to show how everything has to be setup right in order to run consistant times. Right now for drag racing my shit is effectively broken. :Censored:

I got a closeup look at the car at STM when they had the Dyno Day. It is gorgeous, and you guys did a great job. A little nutty for a daily driver, but I have been nutty before.

Sorry for the thread hijack. I love how Chris can't except that he lost to a badass car that ran an 11.1. You could lineup Chris against an F14 fighter jet and he would defend how something went wrong on the run.

I can't ACCEPT it except that I coulda had em if he gave me like 20 cars!

Hey I can't run 8 second quarters all the time brah... especially when my shit is busted. :(

If there is ever a lesson to be learned, there is always someone faster out there no matter what. Well at least 99.999999% of the time.

Car looks great guys but I still think the open turbo is crazy shit for a daily driver setup. :baby:
